Project Overview
In 2025, ADOR CAN INC. completed the full disassembly and replacement of the existing dog park enclosure located at 140 Dimsdale Street in Burk’s Falls, Ontario. The project focused on upgrading the aging perimeter fencing system to provide a secure, durable, and long-term solution for community use.
Scope of Work
The project included:
- Removal and disposal of the existing dog park fencing system
- Installation of approximately 430 linear feet of new 7-foot-high Deer Fence perimeter fencing
- Installation of a dual-gate entrance and exit configuration
- Setting four 6×6 corner posts in concrete to prevent frost heave and ensure long-term structural stability
- Site preparation, layout, and alignment to ensure proper installation
All installation work was performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure system integrity and performance.
Execution & Structural Considerations
Given the Northern Ontario climate and exposure to seasonal freeze-thaw cycles, structural stability was a primary consideration. The reinforced corner posts, embedded in concrete, provide enhanced resistance to ground movement and environmental stress.
Careful sequencing of installation ensured proper sleeve placement, mesh tensioning, and secure fastening at each post, resulting in a clean and professionally finished enclosure.
Project Outcome
The completed installation delivers:
- A safe and secure recreational space for residents
- Durable, weather-resistant perimeter fencing
- Improved municipal infrastructure
- Long-term structural reliability and performance
The upgraded dog park now provides a modern, safe, and functional environment for community use.
