In 2025, ADOR CAN INC. completed a full roof replacement project at Dresden Arena in Chatham-Kent, Ontario.
The project involved the complete removal of the existing roofing system down to the structural decking, followed by the installation of a high-performance roofing assembly designed to enhance long-term durability and weather protection.
Scope of work
The scope included sweeping and removal of excess gravel, full roof tear-off, and installation of 3.5” Polyiso insulation decking to improve thermal performance. New plywood sheathing was installed around parapets and roof curbs where required to ensure proper structural support and system integrity.
A mechanically fastened TPO single-ply roofing system was installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, along with custom-fabricated 26-gauge cap flashings around the roof perimeter. The project also included the installation of new drain inserts and vent flashings to improve water management and drainage efficiency.
